Maintenance and Care Steps for Wigs for Middle-aged and Elderly Individuals

Maintenance and Care Steps for Wigs for Middle-aged and Elderly Individuals

Clean and care for the wig once a week. The water temperature should be around 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. During the cleaning and care process, you can use a wooden comb to clean from the root to the tip of the hair. After washing, rinse the wig with a soft shampoo, then apply a conditioner and wrap it in a dry towel to absorb moisture. When the wig is partially dry, spray a special softening agent (conditioning fluid) on it, approximately 5 to 6 times, then dry it.

Furthermore, if you want to achieve a voluminous look, gently lift and tease the hair a few times before combing it with a wooden comb, and then put it on.

Since wigs are detached from the human body, they can lose nutrients over time, leading to tangling or discoloration. The softening agent (conditioning fluid) can replenish the nutrients, making it an essential step.

(A): The water temperature should be around 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. First, pour about 5 milliliters of shampoo into a basin and dilute it (if it's adhesive, customers must remove the adhesive first).

(B): Place the middle-aged and elderly wig product into the basin and gently knead it for about 15 seconds; Note: Do not rub vigorously!

(C): Carefully comb through with a wooden comb, avoiding excessive force to prevent damage to the hair roots and net.

(D): Rinse off any shampoo residue.

(E): Gently apply conditioner.

(F): Comb through with a wooden comb to ensure even distribution of the conditioner.

(G): Continue using water at a temperature of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius to rinse off the conditioner; usually, three times is sufficient.

(H): When the middle-aged and elderly wig product is partially dry, wrap it in a dry towel to absorb moisture.

(J): Comb in reverse to achieve a natural three-dimensional effect.

(K): Place the wig on a stand specifically designed for middle-aged and elderly wigs and allow it to air dry for about 30 minutes.

(L): If you're in a hurry to use the wig, you can use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process. However, please note: start by drying the cap first.
